This afternoon (Sept. 18/23), North Queens Community School was placed in a precautionary hold and secure to address a safety concern in the school. As is procedure, RCMP were called, responded and the situation is resolved. All students and staff are safe and there is no threat to public safety. Classes continued as normal during the hold and secure and school will be dismissed as usual.
