The SSRCE offers two enriched programming options: the Advanced Placement (AP) Program and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Program:
Originally designed to meet the needs of children of the international business and diplomatic communities. Founders of the program set out to create international curriculum to satisfy the demand of various national education ministries. The program currently works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education and rigorous assessment. At Park View, the program is open to all students who love to learn and who are willing to develop the skills necessary for success.
Where is IB programming available in the SSRCE? Park View Education Centre (PVEC).
More information about the IB program is available through the PVEC guidance department and the International Baccalaureate website.

Developed by The College Board to allow high school students to take university-level academic courses and to show they have mastered the advanced materials by writing AP exams. Based on the student’s exam performance, he/she can earn credit(s) toward his/her college or university studies.
Where is AP programming available in the SSRCE? Forest Heights Community School, and New Germany Rural High School.
More information about the AP program is available each school’s guidance department and on the College Board website.
