Below are a few of the many scholarships that SSRCE students can apply to, if eligible.
Scott Family Bursary – A scholarship fund for relatives of former residents of the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children, 17 – 25 years of age. (Application Deadline: June 1)
Arnold D. Johnson Sr. Award for Water Resources – For students entering Mechanical Engineering Technology or Environmental Engineering Technology this fall at Waterfront campus. Applicants must self-identify as Indigenous African Nova Scotian students. (Application Deadline: May 13)
jipuktuk etli apatua’timk Award: For students entering Mechanical Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering Technology this fall at Waterfront campus. Applicants must self-identify as an Aboriginal Person (includes First Nations, Métis and Inuit) and must reside in Atlantic Canada. (Application Deadline: May 13)
