All public schools in South Shore Regional Centre and the rest of Nova Scotia will be closed on Monday, September 9.
Based on the recommendation of the Emergency Management Office, schools will be closed to ensure students and staff remain safe as the clean-up of Hurricane Dorian continues.
Officials are continuing to assess all schools and ensure that buildings and properties are safe before the return of students and staff.
An update on school openings will be issued on Monday, September 9.
