Child and Youth Commission Public Survey

As part of the recommendations from the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children Restorative Inquiry, the Government of Nova Scotia is creating an independent Child and Youth Commission.

The Child and Youth Commission will help promote and protect the rights and well-being of children and youth in Nova Scotia. The commission will review programs and services for children and youth, including services provided by the Department of Community Services, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Department of Justice and Department of Health and Wellness.

Public input is being gathered through Public Engagement Sessions and an on-line survey.  As the voices of students, families, and educators is vital to this work we are sharing this information with our school communities.
