RootEd Expression of Interest
The South Shore Regional Centre for Education (SSRCE) and Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) is developing a not-for-profit board called RootED in order to help build a sustainable organizational model that inspires our communities by creating a positive school food culture where all students have access to healthy, delicious, locally sourced food.
This volunteer board will work in partnership with SSRCE and NSHA partners to ensure all students have access to healthy food, to participate in grant writing and visioning of a culture of health and wellness through food and education for the students of SSRCE.
